Meet Chef Jean Lorestil
I’m Chef Jean Lorestil, a Haitian-born culinary artist who discovered my passion for vibrant flavors while growing up in the stunning Turks and Caicos Islands. My formal training took me to Europe, where I honed my craft under esteemed chefs, including protégés of the world-renowned Marco Pierre White. My career includes working in some of the Caribbean’s most exclusive resorts and restaurants and having the honor of cooking at the prestigious James Beard House in New York City.
Now based in Richmond, VA, I lead Chef Jean Lorestil Fine Dining and Consulting, LLC, where I specialize in crafting unforgettable dining experiences. From weddings to corporate events and private celebrations, I bring a refined approach to every occasion, blending the bold, vibrant tastes of the Caribbean with the sophistication of French cuisine. My mission is to create exceptional flavors that elevate your special moments into cherished memories.
